Sri started the project with Gajamuhan (Singer / Lyricist) in 2008 on one of his visits to Sri Lanka. Sri wanted to do a song in the lines of 'Mazhaikaala Maegam', a Raga based song, but he wanted to change the music arrangement to touch the new trend of sound with a hint of ethnic instruments.
Hamsanadham, a raga thats used rarely and not an easy one to innovate. Sri took this as a challenge to compose something that stands out amongst the others and gives a warm and soothing sensation to the listeners. And thats what he did.
